Functional skills in Maths and English have gained relevance in past few years, it has been reformed to match the value placed on it at level 2 to be used as equivalence to GCSE at grade C as part of requirement to further education at level and above.

What does this mean?

It means learners who did not achieve Maths and English GCSE grade A – C but passed Functional Skills Maths and English at level 2 can further their education to study at level 3 and above.

Learner can progressively work towards achieving their level 2, from Entry level 1 for learners that falls within ESOL – English to Speakers of Other Languages. We will support you to climb the leader to the appropriate level needed.

• Level 1 – 2

Course Duration: 3 months at each level.
